Unique glass sculpture by Ritva-Liisa Pohjalainen in co-operation with Maestro Mariano Moro and Amber Hauch in Murano, Italy, 2017
The work has been finished in a horizontal position. The mountains are created with bubbles trapped inside, which demands extremely high and precise expertise. Both sides have been cut and polished in the finishing process. A snow blanket goes around the sculpture like a frame. It has been done with a hand-carved “battuto” process.
The work of art: width 660 mm x height 180 mm x depth 85 mm–75 mm
