The Tree of Life

Unique glass sculpture by Ritva-Liisa Pohjalainen in co-operation with Maestro Mariano Moro and Amber Hauch in Murano, Italy 2017.

The branches of the sculpture are built for the body that has holes for them. The work of art has been built branch by branch with hot glass mass according to Ritva-Liisa Pohjalainen’s clay model. In the finishing process the “battuto” technique and sand blasting have been used on the surface following the same clay model.
